Attorney Cristina Freitas graduated from Northeastern University School of Law with a Juris Doctor degree, Tufts University School of Medicine with a Master of Public Health degree, and Boston University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology. She completed a post-graduate Legal Fellowship at Northeastern University School of Law. She is on the Massachusetts Committee for Public Services (CPCS) Children and Family Law Trial Panel and Juvenile Delinquency Panel. She is a member of the American Bar Association, Massachusetts Bar Association, Massachusetts Juvenile Bar Association, Greater Lowell Bar Association, Middlesex Defense Attorneys, Inc., and the Massachusetts Association of Guardians ad Litem. Ms. Freitas serves on the Board of Directors of the Lowell Community Charter Public School, where she is Secretary of the Board and on the Board of Directors of the Portuguese American Club of Lawrence, MA. She volunteers teaching afterschool mock trial and appellate advocacy skills in Lowell Public schools
